Preserving local biodiversity
We maintain our green spaces without using any pesticides and promote a gentle, nature-friendly approach. Delayed mowing areas, flowering and berry-producing shrubs, butterfly-friendly plants and a pathway of aromatic herbs have all been created to welcome insects, birds and local wildlife. Hedgehog shelters, birdhouses and insect hotels further support this commitment.

Taking action for the climate and the planet
Camping Poutie is committed beyond its local area by working with Tree Nation to plant trees, offset CO₂ emissions and support global reforestation. Our forest already includes more than 210 planted trees — a concrete commitment for the future.

Reducing our energy consumption
We take daily action to limit our energy impact: solar lighting in certain pathways and play areas, LED bulbs in all accommodation units and in the restaurant, and a swimming pool heated by a heat pump with a thermal cover to retain warmth. Technical choices designed to combine comfort with energy efficiency.

Using environmentally friendly products
The sanitary facilities, common areas and accommodation units are cleaned using eco-labelled or ISO 14001 certified products, helping to reduce environmental impact and preserve water and air quality

A shared commitment with our guests
Because protecting the environment is a collective effort, we encourage everyone to adopt simple everyday actions: sorting waste, using water responsibly, switching off lights and appliances when leaving the accommodation, respecting nature and shared spaces, and supporting local village shops by walking or cycling whenever possible.

Encouraging gentler and more local tourism
We promote soft mobility and eco-friendly travel by encouraging guests to walk or cycle, with a shuttle stop located near the campsite and on-site breakfast delivery in July and August to help reduce car use. Our nature-based activities — hiking, mountain biking, road cycling and trail running — fully reflect our slow tourism approach, respectful of the local environment.
